Respect for Law 2005 - NPD Leonard Claunts

    I would like to nominate officer Leonard Claunts of the Nampa Police Department for the Optimist Officer of the year.

    Officer Claunts has been a police officer with the PD since November of 1994. Officer Claunts is a patrol officer on the day watch at this time. Officer Claunts is a member of the Tactical Response Team and is a valued team leader.

    While Officer Claunts is not a ranking officer in the police department, his is nevertheless seen by other officers as a leader and a confidant.

    Officer Claunts is a great family man and a great officer.
